Coral Rose and Whoa There!

Hello there. I have a couple of cards to share with you today. The first is a card with the Colorado Craft Company ‘Sympathy and Friendship Rose’ – a huge stamp – covering 5 inches square:

The second card is even more CAS:

For the first card, I stamped the image in Catherine Pooler ‘Coral Cabana‘ then heat embossed with clear embossing powder, with my plan to water-colour the image. That plan changed when I saw how gorgeous it looked just as it is -so the water-colour is for another day, with another colour outline!

I layered that panel onto a navy blue card, added a sentiment from a Thirsty Brush and Co stamp and die set, added three Cosmic Shimmer Cosmic Twinkles ‘Decadent Teal‘ drops and left it there.

I think that coral colour with this stamp is very striking, and I may have to explore that colour even further…….

The second card is using an Altenew sentiment, then stamping an image from Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz ‘Funny Farm’ stamp set. I thought of this image immediately when I saw the current challenge at CASology, and this Altenew sentiment from the ‘Build-a-Flower Daffodil‘ set seemed to fit just perfectly.
