Dawn is hosting the new challenge at The Alphabet Challenge. Having reached the letter ‘S‘ – she has chosen the theme of ‘Stars’
Here is my card:

The background panel was created using a star stencil and gold paste – applied liberally to create a little more dimension.
I decided to try and put some Hero Arts wax on the edge of the panel, and got a little carried away – this wax gives such a fabulous gold shine – so I just added more, and then more – and went for a messy and uneven look.

I then chose this sentiment die from Simon Says Stamp, die cut it out of hold card stock, layered it with white card stock for more stability, then attached the the panel.

A messy, funky kind of card, which does have lots of shine in real life. I hope you can come and join us with your creations matching our theme. xx
I shall be entering the following challenges:
Ellibelle’s Corner – I Spy – Sparkle and Shine
A Perfect Time To Craft – anything goes
Give A Crafter A Cookie – gold and/or silver
Avenue 613 Create – anything goes
Here Is A Place To Start – anything goes
