I live in Derbyshire in the UK, with hubby and four cats, and I continue to work two days a week – ‘flexibly’ retired from the NHS here in England. I started in the NHS in 1983, and having worked full time up until 2020 – I’m enjoying more crafty time.

My card making style seems to have changed over the past few years – I really, really struggled with CAS cards but now I enjoy making them – I have embraced the ‘white space’ so to speak. I’m also trying to develop a mixed media style – that is my ongoing challenge, and my ongoing struggle…….I’ll keep playing, I’m sure of that.

Distress inks and Distress Oxides are now my play toys – I love to ink smoosh, and create smooshed backgrounds – I have a stash of them now, just ready for use. Once I start making them, I just can’t stop…..

I’m enjoying getting to know my Copic markers – such a lot to learn about them, so many colour variations and dimension which can be achieved

I’m still on several Design Teams – varying themes each month, varying styles, so they keep me occupied, and encourage my mojo to keep flowing.
