Hi there. What a week – not quite recovered from a nasty cold, but able to get to my craft room yesterday to play with my new purchases from Uniko.
Here is my CAS Christmas card:

I used the colours from the current Color Throwdown challenge as the basis of this card.
I used the stencil first, and inked through the bottom corner of the base card with an Altenew grey ink, then used a Versamark ink pad and inked again, and used Wow! embossing powder on those same area and heat embossed.
I wanted a grey based, but white sparkly background – which I think I achieved.
The flower is from the most recent release at Uniko, stamping the outline in black, then only stamping the middle layer of the three layer flower in an Altenew ink which closely resembled lavender.
I then had to fussy-cut the flower – I tried the scan’n’cut, but it cut the individual leaves out, not the whole flower – I’m going to have to look and sort that out for the future, but for this flower a little fussy-cutting wasn’t a major issue.
The boughs where stamped in the same grey as the ink blending through the stencil, and die cut.
Hopefully I can get back into my craft room today and I’m sure I’ll show you if I do manage something.
I shall be entering the following challenges:
Color Throwdown – Grey, lavender, black
Addicted to Stamps – holiday
Crimbo-crackers – atg Christmas
The Flower Challenge – CAS flower
GORGEOUS CAS Card! LOVE the layout and the sparkle! Thanks for playing along with The Color Throwdown!!
