Winter Wonderland

Hello there. There is a new challenge beginning at ABC Christmas Challenge. We have reached the letters ‘S’ and ‘T’ – and we want to see your SNOWY and/or TINSEL creations.

I chose ‘SNOWY’:

Hero Arts Color Layering Snowy Tree
Concord & 9th mini ink cubes
Wow! white embossing powder
Sue Wilson Stitched circle dies

I used Hero Arts ‘Color Layering Snowy tree’, stamped three times, with the third layer being white embossing powder to represent the snow.

Once I had positioned the trees where I wanted them, I used a couple of stitched circle dies to create the two layers.

It looked quite bear at this point, so I searched through the CML app for a deer image – which had a matching die set, as too fiddly to cut small images out I find – and the Stampin Up ‘Carols of Christmas‘ appeared.

The deer was stamped twice and die cut, then placed as you see.

The sentiment is also from the same Hero Arts stamp set, and stamped in one of the green inks I had used for the trees.

I hope you can come and join us and share your snowy or tinsel creations. The Design Team has some amazing inspiration for you. xx

  1. Thanks for playing in MTTC’s just ended theme challenge of clean and simple! Your Christmas card has lots of white space so that’s one way to approach the CAS styling. The trees are AMAZING!!! Outstanding! –Becca/DT
