Hi there. I have a couple of cards to share today – both made with the same stamp set – yet completely different looks:

I used the Altenew ‘Build-a-flower Daffodils‘ stamp set, but this time went for purple daffodils. I know – artistic licence anyone?
For the first purple card, I stamped the outline, then the darker two layers in purple – I didn’t stamp the base colour layer. The leaves are from another Altnew stamp set – I wanted two layer leaves, and not daffodil stems, as I knew I wanted to create a whole bunch of flowers bunched together.
Once stamped and die cut with the matching dies, I arranged as you see.
The second card is where I stamped the outline of the daffodils, and one of the detail layers to create a background, with a couple of the little daffodil centres stamped to fill any gaps – all in shades of grey. The sentiment is also from Altenew – white heat embossed on a black strip.
I shall be entering the following challenges:
Twofer Card Challenge – flowers
Trimmies Craft Challenge – birthday
Unicorn Challenge – use dies
here Is A Place to Start – create your own background
Happy Little Stampers atg with dies Challenge – use dies
Rainbow Card Challenge – Vivaciously Violet

This is a great concept and you executed it beautifully! I always feel that we can create our own worlds when we are crafting! Thanks for a beautiful Black and White Entry into our challenge at A Place To Start!

Two different and beautiful cards Lynda and love how you made your daffodils “purple” on the first card and just the gray outlines for a background on the 2nd card! Thanks so much for sharing your lovely cards with us at The Twofer Challenge! :0)

I have to admit when I saw your first design in purple, Lynda, I thought, wow, what gorgeous flower is that? I have to say Mother Nature should take a peek at this because it turns out daffodils look stunning in shades of purple! I love how the flowers and leaves are flowing across nearly the whole front of the card. And they also look fabulous as a DSP in shades of gray! Great choice and location for the sediment, too! Keep on keeping safe and thank you for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #27! Hugs, Darnell
