‘C’ is for checks, ‘D’ is for die cuts

Hello there. I am hosting the new challenge at ABC Christmas Challenge. The letters are ‘C’ and ‘D’ and we want to see your Christmas/Festive creations utilising ‘Checks’ and/or ‘Die cuts’. Here is my card using both the themes:

Onto a card base I adhered some checked patterned paper, then die cut a Spellbinders frame from grey card, adding some snowflakes die cut from white glitter card stock.

I then die cut the snowman, and as all the pieces stayed in the glitter card stock – I left them all in – just covering them at the back with some double-sided tape.

I then die cut the hat and nose from black glitter card, adding as you see.

The sentiment is also from Spellbinders – adding some black behind the words to ensure they stood out a little more than it would have done on the grey background die cut.

I am also offering a couple of stamp sets as a prize for a random winner – so everyone is in with a chance to win:

I hope you can come and join us with you Christmas/Festive creations following our two themes – one or both of them. I look forward to seeing you in our gallery.

I shall be entering the following challenges:

Merry Little Christmas Challenge anything goes Christmas

Peace On earth Challenge anything goes Christmas

Lil Patch Of Crafty Friends anything goes

Sparkles Forum ChristmasChristmas and non-traditional colours

A Perfect Time To Craft anything goes
