Swans and Hearts

Hello once again. Cardz 4 Galz has started a new challenge. Debbie is hosting, and she has chosen the theme of ‘Insert one or more hearts‘. Here is my card:

The background heart panel is a Turnabout stamp from Concord & 9th, stamped using a pink and a grey to cerate a simple backdrop.

I die cut the two swans from white, then again from gold and layered them – slightly off-setting the gold. The black and orange added for the beak and face.

The oval die was cut from grey card stock, then the scalloped layer cut from gold – a pink, grey, and gold card – simple yet I feel quite elegant.

I hope you can come and join us with your creations which include one or more hearts. xx

I shall be entering the following challenges:

  1. Aw, I love your sweet swan card! The swans are beautiful and certainly show the love that we asked for in the challenge. Your paper is lovely and says it all! Thank you for playing with us at the MMM Challenge and hope you can join in again soon.

  2. This is great and the turnaround background is perfect for the rest. Even the swans look as if they could be hearts the way their necks are curved together. You’ve reminded me of a die I haven’t used for a while. I must pull it out.
