Hello again. I was sorting through and trying to find some ‘stuff’ in my craft stash, when I cam across a paper pad with some gorgeous muted images and background papers. It is Stamperia ‘Winter Botanic‘, and I have no idea how long I have had it, but some videos on the internet are from 2018 and 2019…….!
As ever, I look for something, find something else, and decide to play. I cam up with this card using some of the papers and cut-outs in the pad:

As you know, I don’t use many patterned papers, and certainly not to create a whole card from one paper pad, but these just inspired me.
I created a 5×7 inch card, and glued down one of the background papers. I then chose a few more elements, cut them if needed, inked the edges of the three main images and set to putting them down.
There is a smaller piece of card with script on, and two edger pieces were added to the sides. The three images were glued down after adding some spare white card behind, instead of using 2D foam.
The sentiment is from the September release from Spellbinders, stamped in Versafine Clair ‘Morning Mist’ rather than black, and die cut with the matching die, then layered a couple of times.
Of course, I had to add a few gems, and chose the clear Altenew drops – subtle but present.

I seem to have accrued a great many of these types of paper pads but never really done anything with them. I may have to challenge myself to make at least one card weekly using my stash.
I shall be entering the following challenges:
Allsorts – anything Autumn
Inkspirational – visual prompt of fall or Halloween cupcakes
Craft Rocket – Autumn or Halloween
Love Those Pretty Papers – showcase patterned papers
