Enjoy this moment….

A quick post to share the card I have made for the photo inspiration from (Pin)spirational:

I have been thinking about the photo inspiration for quite a few days now, and was going along the sparkles and the word ‘love’ – but then I saw how beautiful the tree was in the corner of the photo – and remembered this stamp from Altenew – ‘Moments in Time‘.

I began by cutting a circle out of some masking paper, and using the cut-out to ink blend two distress oxide colours. I used the circle shape to kinda represent the ‘o’ in the word love…..

Once dry, I then stamped the tree, then the sentiment, in Altenew Obsidian ink. I didn’t smudge anything! I am so pleased with myself!

  1. Hello Lynda: This is Maria, thank you for your sweet comment on my card over at “swimbikerunandstamp” and for your good wishes about my Sciatica problem. The injection went well but this is far from over, it takes a while for the Cortisone to do its job but at least the pain a bit better.
Now, as soon as I saw your card I recognized that beautiful tree image, I too have this set and I don’t ink it up as often as I should, thank you for reminding me that I have it.
I love how you did the sun behind the tree, it’s absolutely gorgeous!!!
Thank you again for your visit to my blog.
    XO
    Maria.

    • No problem Maria – I am a neurosurgery nurse practitioner, so I have a great deal of insight into your problem – personally and professionally – so good luck with it. And – I’m the same about this stamp set – I forgot how beautiful the set is. ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚
