Christmas Love and Movies

Hi there. A new challenge has begun at ABC Christmas Challenge. The letters this time are ‘L’ and ‘M’ – and we want to see Love and Movies with your Christmas creations. Here are my cards:

‘L’ for Love

‘M’ for Movies:

The first card was quite simple and easy to make, using an MFT Stamps Die-namics and two pieces of patterned paper.

The second card took a little more time, mainly the colouring part of it. I didn’t know what to make for the ‘M’ for Movies part of it, and spent some time searching the tinterweb for Christmas movies…..when I saw the ‘Elf’ movie – though I haven’t seen it – I remembered this stamp set from MFT.

The image was stamped with Gina K Amalgam ink and coloured with Copics, then die-cut with MFT ‘Wonky Squares‘.

I have no idea where the patterned paper came from but I felt the colours and theme matched the little elfies, and the sentiment is from the same stamp set.

I hope you can join us and I look forward to seeing your creations in our gallery. xx

I shall be entering the following challenges:

Card 1:

Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned Paper Challenge anything goes with patterned papers

Just Us Girls 2 or more patterned papers

Card 2:

  1. What a great pair of cards! Love the clean look of the first card with the crisp die cut sentiment, and the second card is so much fun – the cross-eyed look cracks me up lol.
I hope you are well – take care,
    Hugs
